Whether you're new to Roseneath and are wanting to meet new people, or have lived here for a while and want to feel more connected to the people in your community, there are a few ways that you can get involved.
Join our parish
Come and worship with us and get to know other members of our friendly congregation. There's a variety of age groups and backgrounds and children are more than welcome. You can find out more about our church here.
Roseneath Residents Association
If you want to get more involved in local matters and to get to know your neighbours then why not join the Roseneath Residents Association.
If you're moving to the area with your family it's likely you'll also be looking for a local primary school. Located in the centre of our suburb, Roseneath School welcomes pupils from years one to eight and has a longstanding history of offering a quality education. You can find out more about the school on their website.
Suggest a new community initiative
If you've got a new community initiative that you'd like to get off the ground and publicise across the suburb then we'd love to hear from you. Perhaps you're thinking of setting up a walking club for new mums and their babies, a coffee morning for people with a love for all things crafty, or want more players for your tennis club - whatever you've got in mind, contact us and we'll help to spread the word about your new initiative.
Host an event in one of our community spaces
If you're looking for a location to host a social or work event, then why not consider one of our community spaces? Contact us to find out more about booking any of the spaces below.
The Long Hall
Located at Point Jerningham, just behind Roseneath School on Maida Vale Road, the large Long Hall offers stunning views of the harbour and can be booked for a number of occasions.
Located next to St Barnabas Church, the church lounge offers a comfortable setting for small gatherings or meetings. With kitchen facilities and a sunny deck overlooking the harbour, the lounge is available for daily hire.
Equipped with its very own stage and a to-die-for kitchen, the Roseneath School hall can be hired for shows, parties and more.
